Snooker

Snooker was invented by army officers in Jabalpur in 1875. Play a quick 6-red frame or a full 15-red frame against a friend or the computer, with real fouls, breaks and a black-ball shoot-out.

How to play

  1. Pot a red (1 point), then any colour: yellow 2, green 3, brown 4, blue 5, pink 6, black 7. Colours come back to their spots while reds are left. Keep potting to build a break.
  2. To shoot, put your finger on the white ball and pull back, like a gulel. The further you pull, the harder the shot. Let go to shoot (or slide back to the ball to cancel).
  3. The lines show where it goes: green into a pocket means it will pot. Tap a ball first to aim exactly at it, then pull straight back. Ball in hand? Drag the white in the D and tap Done.
  4. When the reds are gone, pot the colours in order from yellow to black. Highest score wins; a tie means a black-ball shoot-out.
  5. Fouls give the other player at least 4 points: missing everything, hitting the wrong ball first, or potting the white. After potting the white, the other player places it anywhere in the D.
