Boarding schools in Delhi
Full boarding is rare in NCR. Most schools that say boarding mean day boarding: your child stays on after classes for supervised study, activities and an evening meal, and comes home at night. We have not added any schools with boarding in Delhi yet. If you know one, tell us and we will check it and add it.

Day boarding or full boarding?
Day boarding suits families where both parents work late. Full boarding means your child lives at school and comes home on set weekends and holidays. Ask each school which one it offers, visit the rooms and the mess, and talk to a family whose child already boards there.

What does day boarding include?
It usually runs until early evening, with homework time, games and a meal. Hours and charges differ a lot between schools, so get them in writing.
What should I check at a boarding school?
Who is on duty at night, how sick children are looked after, how often you can call or visit, and what the school does if something goes wrong. A good school answers these without hesitating.
When do admissions open?
Most private schools take registrations in the winter for the session that starts in April. Dates differ by school and by state, and Delhi nursery admissions follow their own government schedule. We post confirmed dates on our admissions pages and can email you when they change.
