Mall, Ghaziabad
Pacific Mall
A big mall on the Kaushambi edge of Sahibabad, about 700 metres from Kaushambi metro. Shops, a seven-screen cinema and a busy food court.
What it is
This is the Ghaziabad Pacific Mall, at Site 4 in the Sahibabad industrial area, right by the Delhi border. It has a seven-screen Movie Max multiplex, brands such as Croma, Westside and Pantaloons, and a food court that gets loud on weekends. For families in Kaushambi and Vaishali it is one of the two malls they use most, along with Mahagun Metro Mall.
Getting there
Kaushambi on the Blue Line is about 700 metres away, a short walk or e-rickshaw ride. Anand Vihar ISBT and the railway terminal are close as well. There is a multi-level car park. Traffic near the border and the bus terminal is heavy at peak hours, so the metro is often the quicker choice.
When to go
The mall is open every day from 11 am to 10 pm. Weekday afternoons are calm. Weekend and holiday evenings get crowded, especially in the food court and at the cinema, so book film tickets ahead.
Good to know
Pacific has other malls in Delhi, including Tagore Garden and Netaji Subhash Place, so if you book a cab, say Pacific Mall Sahibabad or Kaushambi. On bad air days in winter the stretch outside feels rough, and the mall is where many local families spend a Sunday instead of a park.
