Tuition, coaching and classes

Tutors, coaching centres and activity classes, city by city. We add a class only after phoning it or visiting, so the lists start small and grow.

Choosing a class

• Ask for a trial class Most good tutors and centres offer one. Sit in if you can.
• Ask who actually teaches Big centres advertise their star teachers; your child may get someone else. Ask for the batch teacher’s name.
• Check the batch size Twelve children and thirty are very different classes.
• Pay monthly or by term to start Avoid paying a full year in advance until you know it works. Get a receipt every time.
• Count the travel A class 40 minutes away, three times a week, is two hours on the road for your child.
