Delhi NCR
Is my town in Delhi NCR?
Delhi NCR is all of Delhi and 27 districts around it in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, about 55,000 sq km. Most families live in six main cities; the rest is towns and farmland that keep growing towards them.

Good to know
The NCR Planning Board decides which districts are in NCR. In June 2026 its Regional Plan 2041 kept the boundary as it is; an earlier idea to shrink NCR to 100 km from Rajghat was dropped. In July 2026 Rajasthan's part was redrawn to match its new districts, with no change in area.
Being in NCR doesn't mean the same rules everywhere. School admissions, fee rules and RTE seats follow the state: Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh or Rajasthan. Air-pollution (GRAP) rules apply across all of NCR.
