Choosing a class
- Ask for a trial class Most good tutors and centres offer one. Sit in if you can.
- Ask who actually teaches Big centres advertise their star teachers; your child may get someone else. Ask for the batch teacher’s name.
- Check the batch size Twelve children and thirty are very different classes.
- Pay monthly or by term to start Avoid paying a full year in advance until you know it works. Get a receipt every time.
- Count the travel A class 40 minutes away, three times a week, is two hours on the road for your child.
