Mall, Noida

DLF Mall of India

A very large mall on the edge of Sector 18, open since 2016, with about 330 brands, a PVR multiplex and a long list of places to eat.

What it is

DLF Mall of India opened in 2016 and has around two million square feet of shops over seven floors. Brands are grouped into themed zones, which helps in a building this size. There is a PVR multiplex, gaming and arcade areas, a kids' zone and big toy shops such as Hamleys. Food runs from a large food court to sit-down restaurants.

Getting there

Noida Sector 18 on the Blue Line is the nearest station, a few minutes' walk away. Drivers use the mall's multi-level parking, which also has valet service. On weekends the queue of cars to get in can stretch back onto the road, and the metro is often quicker.

When to go

Weekday mornings and afternoons are quiet and easy. Friday evenings and weekends are packed, and the food court has long queues at Sunday lunchtime. The weeks before Diwali bring the biggest crowds. Late evening on a weekday is also easy, once the after-work crowd thins out.

Good to know

Note your parking level and the entrance you came in by, because the building is easy to get turned around in. Prices are normal brand prices. For bargains, Atta market is just across the metro line. The security check at the doors slows things down at busy times.
